Overview of Bhagavad Gita Course

This is a 3-part course covering all 18 chapter of the Bhagavad Gita, one of the seminal yogic texts.

The Bhagavad Gita is a must-read for all serious yoga students, and this course approaches the great wisdom of the Gita in a practical way. Students completing the course will walk away with useful tools for integrating the teachings of the Gita into everyday life.

The course is divided into 3 parts, with each part covering 6 chapters of the Gita. It is recommended that you read the chapters before watching the associated video so that it is easier to follow along. You can use any version of the Bhagavad Gita you like. A couple good versions is are "The Bhagavad Gita," by Easwaran, "The Living Gita," by Satchidananda, and "The Bhagavad Gita: A New Translation," by Feuerstein.

This is a 15-hour course when you combine your self-study/reading of the Gita with the assignment and videos. The course meets the Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Guidelines in the Yoga Philosophy, Lifestyle and Ethics (YPLE) category.
