Welcome to the Bhagavad Gita study course!

The Bhagavad Gita might be the most important yogic text; it arguably contains the essence of all other yoga teachings.

In this course, Kelli presents the teachings of the Gita in an accessible way, and students will come away with an understanding of how to apply these great teachings into everyday life.

This course offers a broad overview of the Gita. It is broken down in three (3) sections - Introduction and Chapters 1-6, Chapters 7-12, and Chapters 13-18. It is a great guide for those interested in studying the Gita who may be feeling overwhelmed with how to dive into this rich material.

It is designed as a 3-week course, and students are recommended to read six (6) chapters a week and watch the accompanying video. However, it is completely self-paced and may be completed in a longer or shorter time period.

This course meets the guidelines of the Yoga Alliance as a 15-hour Continuing Education course in the category of Yoga Philosophy, Lifestyle and Ethics (YPLE).

Excerpt from the Course:

Discussion of Chapter 11, slokas 14-51, including Oppenheimer's famous quote from 11:32 after his part in the creation of the atomic bomb, "I have become death, destroyer of worlds."

About Kelli Hastings, a/k/a "The Yoga Lawyer"...

Kelli is a yoga teacher, author, homestead farmer, artist, and lawyer with over twenty years of experience as a civil litigator and yoga instructor.

The personal tragedies of losing her brother and father 6 months apart to cancer in 2010 sparked within her a re-awakening. Her journey led her deeper into the practice and study of Yoga, and then to India. Kelli spent about six months total in India, over the course of 3 years. In India, Kelli connected to and felt deeply the Love that permeates all of existence. It transformed her and set her life on a different trajectory - from a material-minded, overworked attorney to a more fully integrated, spiritual human being.

She has studied Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga at its source in Mysore, Karnataka India, and is an E-RYT with thousands of hours of yoga teaching experience. Her school, Sister Lotus Yoga, is a registered yoga school with the Yoga Alliance, though her focus is not on the physical practice of yoga asana, but the integration of yoga practices and principles into everyday life.

Kelli's award-winning first book, "Rotten Minerva: Be an Unruly Warrior and Embark on a Spiritual Quest" is available in print at all major retailers, and is now available as on Audible as an audiobook read by the author!
