Welcome to Week 2: Ashtanga Tradition and Lineage
Like last week, there is an assignment (including reading, self-study, and practice) and a class video. All of the weekly assignments are also available in the SLY Manual, which you can use to follow along if you like. The same information from the manual is also available here online.
This week, we are continuing with yoga asana in the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga tradition. We will look at the foundational elements of Ashtanga Vinyasa asana, including breath, bandhas, and drishti.
